Questa fotografia riguarda una parte molto importante nella la vita di una persona: il ritorno a scuola. Però in questo testo il ritorno non viene raccontato in maniera felice: vi è infatti la storia di una morte. Purtroppo, per le persone del tempo, fare i conti con la morte in età precoce era abbastanza facile. Deve essere molto triste però provare questa tipologia di emozioni già in tenera età, si può infatti leggere la tristezza di colui che scrive (errori grammaticali a parte), e l’augurio, la speranza, di vedere il proprio amico in Paradiso.
Andando avanti col la lettura possiamo anche notare quanto fosse rigida l’istruzione all’interno dei collegi, infatti tutte le persone andavano chiamate tramite nome e cognome, si può infatti leggere nella parte in cui parla del suo unico professore e nella parte dove elenca tutti i nomi della sua classe numerosa.

Queste due facciate del diario questa volta riguardano ancora una volta il ricordo in memoria del compagno di classe scomparso in giovane età. Le parole scritte si possono leggere molto chiaramente e descrivono tutta la tristezza provata dalle persone attorno a lui, che la ricordano come una persona molto buona, generosa e leale. Si parla inoltre della sua malattia, che lo costringeva a rimanere a letto mentre i suoi compagni di classe erano liberi di andarsene e ritornare a casa.
Alla fine di questo testo ritroviamo, come nella precedente fotografia, il desiderio di vedere il proprio amico nel paradiso e le preghiere nei suoi confronti.
