Queste sono le foto di una moneta da 5 centesimi di Vittorio Emanuele III-Impero. Nel dritto è presente la testa del Re Vittorio Emanuele di profilo rivolta verso destra; si legge poi la scritta “VITT-EM-III-RE-E-IMP”. Nel rovescio invece è rappresentata un’aquila ad ali spiegate che regge un fascio fra gli artigli; in alto poi si legge ITALIA, mentre in basso sotto il fascio si trova lo stemma sabaudo con ai lati l’indicazione del valore “C.5”. C’è poi l’anno di coniazione (1942) sulla sinistra in numeri arabi e sulla destra invece in numeri romani. Infine è presente il marchio di zecca R e poi la firma del modellista “G-ROMAGNOLI”.
Questa moneta rientra in una seconda tipologia, è infatti presente una prima tipologia di monete da 5 centesimi “Impero”. Queste sono differenti innanzitutto per l’anno in cui sono state coniate: il primo tipo comprende una fascia che va dal 1936 al 1939 e sono in bronzo, le seconde invece vanno dal 1939 al 1943 e sono in bronzital. I 5 centesimi Impero del primo tipo hanno un diametro di 19,5 mm, un peso di 3,25 g e un contorno liscio; mentre quelli del secondo tipo hanno come unica differenza un peso inferiore, ovvero di 2,95 g.

On the reverse, on the other hand, an eagle with spread wings is represented holding a bundle in its talons; at the top then we read ITALIA, while at the bottom under the bundle is the Savoy coat of arms with the indication of the value “C.5” on the sides. Then there is the year of minting (1942) on the left in Arabic numerals and on the right instead in Roman numerals. Finally, there is the mint mark R and then the model maker’s signature “G-ROMAGNOLI”.
This coin falls into a second type, there is in fact a first type of 5-cent “Empire” coins. These are different first of all for the year in which they were minted: the first type includes a band that goes from 1936 to 1939 and are in bronze, the second ones go from 1939 to 1943 and are in bronzital. The 5 centesimi Impero of the first type have a diameter of 19.5 mm, a weight of 3.25 g and a smooth outline; while those of the second type have as the only difference a lower weight, ie 2.95 g.
