Telefunken in Italia
In Italia Telefunken è presente dal 1910 quando avviò la vendita dei suoi apparecchi attraverso la filiale italiana della Siemens, con sede a Milano. Gli eventi bellici del 1915-18, interruppero tutta l’attività, poi ripresa alla fine del conflitto sempre attraverso la struttura produttiva e commerciale di Siemens Elettra. All’espansione del mercato italiano, nella seconda metà degli anni venti, Telefunken partecipò, prima, con l’importazione, poi, con l’assemblaggio locale ed infine con la produzione in Italia tramite Siemens OLAP. Nel 1945-46, lo stabilimento fu rilevato dalla FIAR, che proseguì la produzione delle radio a marchio Telefunken e al contempo avviò quella a marchio CGE, poi estesa anche ai televisori.
Telefunken oggi
Il marchio Telefunken sparito dal mercato italiano dell’elettronica di consumo nel 2001, vi fa ritorno nel 2008 attraverso il Gruppo Industriale Vesit S.p.A., filiale commerciale della Vestel con sede a Milano, che a partire da quella data commercializza oltre ai televisori, anche gli elettrodomestici per la cottura, la refrigerazione ed il lavaggio.

Telefunken in Italy
Telefunken had been present in Italy since 1910, when it started selling its appliances through the Italian branch of Siemens, based in Milan. The war of 1915-18 interrupted the entire business, which was resumed at the end of the conflict through the Siemens Elettra production and sales structure. In the second half of the 1920s, Telefunken participated in the expansion of the Italian market, first with imports, then with local assembly and finally with production in Italy through Siemens OLAP. In 1945-46, the factory was taken over by FIAR, which continued to produce radios under the Telefunken brand and at the same time started production under the CGE brand, which was later extended to include televisions.
Telefunken today
The Telefunken brand disappeared from the Italian consumer electronics market in 2001 and returned in 2008 through Gruppo Industriale Vesit S.p.A., a commercial subsidiary of Vestel, based in Milan, which from that date onwards markets not only televisions but also cooking, refrigeration and washing appliances.
