Via Umberto I è una delle tante vie del centro della città di Rovigo, in questa foto possiamo ammirarla nei primi anni del XX secolo, prima della costruzione della fontana sul fondo della strada.
La fontana venne inaugurata il 12 giugno del 1912 assieme alla statua di Amos Bernini, politico italiano che morì a Rovigo proprio in quegli anni. Contrariamente alla statua la fontana venne distrutta alcuni anni dopo e oggi possiamo trovare al suo posto solo uno spiazzo con alcuni parcheggi per auto.

Via Umberto I is one of the many streets in the center of the city of Rovigo, in this photo we can admire it in the early twentieth century, before the construction of the fountain at the bottom of the street.
The fountain was inaugurated on 12 June 1912 together with the statue of Amos Bernini, an Italian politician who died in Rovigo in those years. Contrary to the statue, the fountain was destroyed a few years later and today we can find in its place only an open space with some parking spaces for cars.
